Westage Medical Mall
The Westage Medical Mall stands as a testament to the collaboration between Westage Companies and Vassar Brothers Medical Center. It was the first development of its kind in the Hudson Valley.
This 130,000 square foot, three-story building is at the center of the 1 million square foot Westage Business Center Drive, located at the crossroads of Route 9 and I-84 in Fishkill, NY – the busiest intersection of the region.
The ownership structure is a commercial condominium, an ownership structure whereby Westage could offer space to a larger audience, both renters and owners. As a result, Westage and Vassar own approximately equal shares, while two occupant/owners own the balance. The condominium structure also allowed Vassar to take advantage of its tax exempt status as a non-profit organization.
The Medical Mall has a wide array of tenants, including an ambulatory surgery center, radiation oncology, laboratory services, women’s health services, a sleep lab, physical therapy, ophthalmology, cardiac specialists and numerous other medical practices.
The building represents a seamless integration of structure and technologically advanced clinical spaces. The ambulatory surgery center, linear accelerator vault and imaging centers were constructed simultaneously with the core and shell of the building.
